Positive: The location was at the center of the city, and it was what I wanted. It's also a safe and secure area. The apartment is simple and clean. The cleaning lady came in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The hosts (a couple-Aby and Senghor) were easy to reach, and they attended to issues promptly.
Negative: There is air conditioner in the bedroom but there is no air conditioner in the living room, so it wasn't comfortable staying in the living room given the warm weather of Dakar. Hence, to make the apartment fully comfortable there is need for an air conditioner in the living room. Secondly, they should keep the electricity prepaid meter device in their office so that they themselves can monitor when the credit/subscription is going low and promptly renew it. I say this because at some point we were out of electricity without knowing the cause. However, we called the attention of the host, and they checked the device and did the subscription renewal. But it would have been quite an unbearable inconvenience if this had happened over the weekend. So, please Abi and Senghor should consider taking responsibility for monitoring the electricity metering device.
